Sandra & Richard
The celebrations began the night before, as Sandra and her bridal party gathered in the venue’s elegant bridal suite. It was an evening of laughter, shared memories, and quiet anticipation. Sandra was joined by her two grown up daughters, whose close bond with their mum was evident in every heartfelt glance and supportive word.
On the morning of the wedding, the suite was buzzing with excitement. A hearty breakfast and a great playlist filled the air as hair and makeup artists worked their magic. The arrival of the adorable flower girls and page boy brought even more energy and joy to the room. Meanwhile, Richard made a stylish entrance in his own car, accompanied by his children, beaming with pride.
Sandra and Richard got married in September 2024 at the stunning Shropshire venue, The Albright Hussey. It was a day bursting with love, colour, and some of the best tunes played at a wedding!
As guests began to arrive, they were greeted by glorious sunshine—perfect for the outdoor ceremony. Sandra, radiant and ready, shared an emotional first look with her dear friend Asda, who had the honour of walking her down the aisle. Her gown, a satin masterpiece with a sweetheart neckline and a breathtaking train, was paired with a vibrant bouquet of sunflowers and navy blue accents—a stunning combination that captured her warmth and elegance.
With Shania Twain’s “From This Moment On” playing softly, Sandra made her way down the aisle toward Richard, who was waiting with a smile that said it all. The ceremony, set within the beautiful grounds of The Albright Hussey, was heartfelt and deeply personal, filled with emotion, laughter, and happy tears. As they were pronounced husband and wife, Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” rang out, and the newlyweds walked hand-in-hand back up the aisle, surrounded by love.
Guests were treated to refreshing drinks and delicious canapés outdoors while the photographer, Debbie, captured beautiful family moments and joyful group shots. The confetti throw was a highlight, with Sandra and Richard at the center of a joyful celebration. Live music from Ryan Evans provided a dreamy backdrop, enhancing the magic of the summer afternoon.
The wedding breakfast kicked off in style with a cheeky surprise for Richard with AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell” blasting through the speakers as the couple made their entrance, much to his delight. The speeches that followed from Asda, the bride and groom, and Richard’s son, were heartfelt and moving, bringing both laughter and tears to the room. Guests then enjoyed a delicious roast loin of pork, followed by a decadent chocolate brownie with ice cream.
As the evening drew in, more guests arrived and the celebration continued. The couple cut their elegant navy blue and white cake in front of a sea of smiling faces. For their first dance, Richard and Sandra chose “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol. To keep the energy high, Sandra surprised everyone with a fun dance to Erasure alongside Asda, a nostalgic nod to their 1980s dancefloor days. The party kept going well into the early hours, with the dance floor full of friends and family dancing, laughing, and celebrating a love that brought everyone together.
Richard and Sandra’s wedding wasn’t just a day; it was an experience full of joy, meaningful moments, and music that echoed the spirit of their love. A perfect beginning to their next chapter.
